This year, we are delighted to partner with THE PIG Hotels, renowned for their charming and rustic country retreats. THE PIG Hotels share our passion for sustainability, supporting local businesses, and creating beautiful spaces. This collaboration promises to bring a unique and inspiring display to the Chelsea Flower Show, combining our expertise in greenhouse design with THE PIG’s dedication to culinary excellence and hospitality.
What to Expect at Our Stand
The National Trust Mottisfont
Powder-coated in Bronze Manganese, our Mottisfont greenhouse (4m x 2.6m) offers a contemporary aesthetic, featuring a darker finish and a sleek profile without finials and cresting. THE PIG team has adorned the greenhouse with fragrant pelargoniums, transforming it into a haven for plant collectors. Adding to its charm, the floor will be laid with a patchwork of reclaimed tiles from Bert & May, providing a beautiful and sustainable foundation.
Bespoke Traditional Greenhouse
Showcasing our popular Wood Sage colour, this bespoke greenhouse is a wonderful example for a serious grower and entertainer!
The extended double lobby creates a focal point and more internal space, with essential cold frames on either side. A partitioned area allows effective heating of a smaller space for early sowing and propagating, plus year-round growing and ripening of more tender plants that need warmer temperatures. This allows the main space to be dedicated to large mature citrus trees, and the stunning PIG inspired dining space.
The electric roof vents are a more sophisticated system, an upgrade from the standard automatic Bayliss vents. They give the owner a greater control over the air flow and temperature within the greenhouse. This combined with the Harrier cedar shades, provides and beautiful finish but an effective way to temperature control the greenhouse.
